Synopsis

Hoyeong Lee is a 29-year-old office worker when monster attacks begin and a warning tells him the apocalypse is fifteen days away. After he saves a trapped silver goblin, it gives him a mysterious pill. The reward helps him level up and grants access to a strategy guide that no one else can see. Then humanity is forced into the Apocalypse Tower, where strangers must survive lethal missions in groups. The tower pushes its captives toward suspicion and conflict, but Hoyeong wants a different ending: he intends to use his private knowledge to get his companions through the trials together.

Editorial note

The personal guide gives Hoyeong a valuable head start, yet the real challenge is social: a survival game that rewards mistrust is a poor place to build a team. This combination of privileged information, floor-by-floor danger, and deliberate cooperation gives the series its identity. Hoyeong is pursuing a shared escape rather than a solo climb, so a successful plan must account for the people carrying it out.
