Mitsuki Koyama is a twelve-year-old girl who loves singing and dreams of becoming a professional singer so she can fulfill a promise made to Eichi Sakurai, the boy she loves. A serious illness in her throat makes that dream nearly impossible. Her life changes when two shinigami, Takuto and Meroko, appear before her. Through supernatural intervention, Mitsuki is able to transform into a healthy sixteen-year-old version of herself and audition as a singer under the stage name Fullmoon. As her career grows, the story increasingly intertwines music, love, death, grief and the hidden pasts of the people around her.
