Synopsis

Mikhail Walpurgis is the only 9th-circle archmage in the world, yet humanity still loses its final battle against the Demon God because the chosen hero fails. With death closing in, Mikhail casts the supreme spell Time Reversal and returns twenty years into the past. Refusing to repeat the same mistake, he decides not to leave the fate of the world in someone else's hands. This time, Mikhail will become the hero himself, rebuild his power from an earlier point in history, correct the decisions that doomed the previous timeline, and prepare properly for the Demon God's return.

Editorial note

The series gives regression a clear strategic purpose: Mikhail is not trying to escape a bad life but to correct a failed world-saving campaign he personally remembers.
